OUR STORY

We are a family run farm in Purbeck who rear 200 beef cattle a year and have recently diversified into camping and selling meat direct from the farm. In the last few years we have hosted a number of weddings and ceremonies alongside the Purbeck Valley Folk Festival and Land and Wave children's adventure holidays.

We would like to welcome campers to enjoy the lovely scenery and walks we have here in Purbeck and even have one of our fields with a direct view over Corfe Castle.

The Farm

We normally have around 200 cattle on the farm and rear 100 a year, these are calves we have brought from dairy farms and we will rear them until they go to market at 2 years old. We are farm assured which means all of our cows are cared for to the highest welfare standards and this is something we are very proud of.

In the last few years we have been selling beef boxes directly to members of the public from some of our Aberdeen angus cattle and this has proved a hit. We pride ourselves on our high welfare standards, traceability and the quality of the finished product.

THE CAMPSITE

We started our own campsite in 2020 when the covid-19 pandemic put a holt on the children's holidays and we hope it will be a permanent feature on our farm. We enjoyed welcoming the first campers and had an entertainment night from the youth circus and a pizza van supplied us a few weekends of lovely home made pizzas which were a massive hit and we hope to continue.

grass fed beef burgers and venison burgers
Fire pits to hire and logs to buy

New additions- We have new shower and toilet blocks we have built, some play equipment including a slide and a boat in our bale playground and New for 2023 we have some swings.

To be more protected against Covid-19 on our campsite we have additional cleaning times in a day and use antibacterial cleaning products

We allow firepits and barbeques with added safety measures in place in the hotter weather so you can still enjoy your holiday reassured you are protecting the wildlife and landscape
